What we do
At GMS, we perform draft survey measurements for solid bulk cargoes and ullage measurements for liquid products (petroleum products, chemicals, etc.), in accordance with international standards (IMO, ISO). These operations allow us to accurately determine the actual quantity of goods loaded or unloaded.

The draft survey consists of measuring the variation in the ship's draft before and after loading or unloading, taking into account various factors (water density, sea state, ship consumption, etc.).

Ullage Measurement: For liquid cargo
Ullage measurement allows the volume of liquid products (petroleum, fuel, oil, etc.) contained in a tank to be calculated from the empty height (ullage) measured from the top of the tank to the liquid level.
